Dr. Hornbrook and Dr. Souza are licensed oral conscious sedation dentists, providing an experience much like “twilight sleep". The procedure utilizes a combination of prescription medications (usually Halcion and Triazolam) as our or sedation dentistry option to induce a relaxed and drowsy state that lasts for up to a few hours at a time. It is available for $350 to $700 per case.

In some situations, oral sedation may not even be necessary.

After Your Appointment

All oral sedation patients will need to have a family or friend escort them home from their procedure, as it can take a few hours for the sedative to fully leave your system. We will provide you with written home care instructions for you to review before and after the appointment, so that nothing is overlooked.
